With the construction of a new raw materials warehouse and the complete switch to intelligent LED lighting at its production site in Tczew, the CREBONIT GROUP is strengthening its focus on sustainable growth and a significant reduction in energy consumption.
In recent weeks, the existing high-bay warehouse has been dismantled and replaced with a new, expanded facility. This increases the capacity from 520 to 800 pallet spaces. Parallel to the new construction, the cabling, control technology, and lighting throughout the entire plant—including all EX zones—have been completely modernized and converted to energy-efficient LED technology.
The new facility is designed to make optimal use of natural daylight with the aid of intelligent sensor technology, thus achieving maximum energy savings. In addition, an energy storage system was installed to balance peak loads and reduce electricity consumption. This has reduced the total electricity requirement from 150 kWh to 120 kWh, which also lowers grid fees.
The investment in the new energy management system underscores the CREBONIT GROUP’s long-term commitment to resource-efficient management and climate-friendly production processes. At the same time, the company is strengthening its future viability in an increasingly energy- and environmentally-conscious market environment.
