The latest addition to the CREBONIT Alkyd portfolio not only lives up to its name with its fast drying, but also offers a high solids content and thus a low VOC content. As a single-layer (One) application, the new CREBOLUX One 673 on steel in low to moderately corrosive environments is an interesting alternative for many projects for all coaters looking for fast throughput times and low solvent emissions.
What is CREBOLUX One 673?
The new CREBOLUX One 673 is based on an innovative technology of modern alkyd binders in combination with co-binders, but has a higher solids content of 67%. As a result, the product is more productive and contains lower VOC. Fast drying saves project and coating costs. Despite these advantages, there is no compromise on quality and appearance.
For which applications is CREBOLUX One 673 suitable?
CREBOLUX One 673 is a very fast drying primer/topcoat (DTM), lead- and chromate free, pigmented for corrosion purposes with zinc phosphate and advanced inhibitors. The product is suitable as a one- or two-layer coating for steel structures, steel components in general and a variety of applications in heavy and light steel construction, where short throughput and drying times are required. Both outdoors and indoors, it protects steel in mild to moderately corrosive environments.
What is special about CREBOLUX One 673?
As the name suggests, it is a single-layer paint of the last generation with properties such as rapid drying, rapid outdoor storage capability and for this binder class – a great corrosion protection. The tried-and-tested problem-free processability up to 160 μm TSD in a single operation, which CREBONIT is accustomed to, is of course included. The product can be painted over excellently without the usual intervals for alkyd systems.
