Research and development are the cornerstones of the CREBONIT GROUP. With the TOPCURE project, we are realizing a high-end technology for industrial use, both as a finished product and as a modular building block system.
The cornerstone of TOPCURE Technology is the application of silanes in polymer technology, also known as polysiloxane technology.
The aim of TOPCURE is to reduce the exposure to isocyanates and solvents during processing and at the same time to increase product performance.
By changing the backbone system of the coatings to a siloxane-based crosslinking mode, the NCO/solvent content is reduced to virtually zero. The advantages are obvious: no impairment by isocyanates and a significant reduction in solvents with increased quality, processability and product performance at the same time.
In particular, the modular character of the TOPCURE system is a great advantage for the industrial processor and currently a unique selling point on the market.
With TOPCURE Mix, around 3,000 colour tones can be produced on site in a modular manner and in the desired quantity. Since the system is self-contained, there are no differences compared to factory production. This technological circumstance also enables the use of high-end polysiloxane technology in classic industry, where many different colours are used.
